Believe In Yourself
Updated: May 15, 2021
If I were to tell you that you could do anything, would you believe? Quite frankly, I would - if I were a young, bright-eyed elementary school student who was also told that I could become the president of the United States one day...(cue side eye) lol. The truth is that at some point, many of us transition from childhood to adulthood, we are faced with societal pressures and ideas that somehow make us forget that truth.
Some will say, 'well if that's the case, why haven't I become a millionaire yet,' or, 'why haven't I accomplished my biggest dreams?' Honestly, I can't answer that question, so I turn it back to you and ask you the same. Why are you not where you want to be? I can tell you that for me, the reason why I have not yet achieved all my goals is because of one reason....ME!
If I were to tell you that you could do anything, would you believe me?
Who you are and who you become has to do with a lot of factors, but I believe the most important factor in the whole equation is YOU! And throughout this blog and the entire #IAm experience, it is my goal that you (and I) will grow together to become the best version of who we are, and we will begin by focusing on the most important aspect of ourselves - our minds. You see, I've learned that no matter what you wish or attempt to do, you will not get there if your mind is not in the right place. That means, if you want to start your own business and become a millionaire, but you #believe that you are not smart enough, great enough, popular enough (etc.), it will be virtually impossible for you to reach your goal.
Look at the greats and listen to them speak. You'll rarely, if ever, hear them speak negatively of themselves. Therefore, your first step to the rest of your life will be based on the confidence that you have in yourself. And trust me, it is COMPLETELY ok if you are not confident yet. Just know that one day, you will be! Below, I've posted a video to help you get started. Feel free to check it out and leave a comment if you have any questions!
